    Psoriasis child

    Slmz Dr Joy

    I'm not sure if you received my emails regarding a psoriasis product? I did not send it thru the forum, but thru my personal email (so not sure if it went thru to your junk mail?)....I don't know if I can post the name of the product here. I was just after you professional opinion. Thanks Dr Joy

    Would the ingredients be safe for a child to use;

    1) topically -a) Kigelia Africana, 0.25% Camphor Oil, Purified Water, 20% Stabilized Oxygen
    -b) Natural Based Cream, Aqua, 0.25% Camphor Oil, Purified Water

    2) orally - Stabilized Liquid Oxygen, 0.5% natural anti-microbial agents, purified distilled water suspension

    Is camphor oil bad for us?

    I'm worried about side effect for now and possible future side effects.

    Thanks Dr Joy

    Unfortunately I have not received your email

    Would you please resend me the email at the following address joy@tibb.co.za

    I am not a product specialist and you would need to check the package insert of these products in order to assess the efficacy and safety. However, I can comment on the herb Kigelia Africana which is traditionally used in the treatment of psoriasis, nappy rash and other inflammatory skin conditions due to its anti-inflammatory properties. Different parts of this plant has different effects and from the notes I have the fruit is given to infants to encourage weight gain. What is the age of your little one? Purely based on the indications I have listed for this herb, it appears to be safe in children, however, I would like to do some research on the entire product. So will you please send me the name via email

    Camphor oil has many beneficial properties for the skin
