    Green tea in pregnancy

Is it safe to drink green tea during pregnancy?

There is no evidence to suggest that green tea is harmful during pregnancy, however, it is a source of caffeine. Caffeine should be kept under 200mg per day, which includes coffee, regular tea, chocolates and sodas. It is therefore best to keep your green tea consumption to a minimum or 1 cup daily or by adjusting or omitting other sources of caffeine so that you stay within your 200mg mark
