Water based nail polish

I heard theres a water based nail polish, it comes off when you wash your hands if I am no mistaken
So can it still be used or is it haraam?

There is permission for women in Islam to adopt adornment and beauty, but this is with the proviso that it is done within the limits and boundaries of Shari’ah. Women generally apply nail polish due to fashion trends, thereby aping western society. It should not be that whatever fashion is prevalent, we blindly begins following that.

Not withstanding the above, If the nail polish is water based and comes off when the hands are washed, then it will be permissible to use it, provided that it does not contain any impure ingredients.
