there is a product available at pick and pays checkers clicks etc it is called GynaeGuard use a little of this to wash with. The other option is to occasionally rinse with some water in which you have diluted bicarbonate of soda.
Any soap causes an imbalance in ph and that allows for bugs to grow and cause the smell.

    I am not a professional.

A fishy odour usually results when the normal acidic environment becomes more alkaline which allows overgrowth of the bacteria that lives in your private parts. Firstly you should check that you do not have an infection (bacterial vaginosis) as this would require medical treatment. Gynaeguard is safe to use as it has a low pH, but your lady parts have a self cleaning mechanism and so very often water is good enough. You should use a probiotic and eat lots of plain yogurt to reestablish the pH balance. Wear cotton panties as nylon and those other pretty panties doesnt allow your intimates to breathe. After using the loo or intercourse always wash the area with water and dry wiping from the front to the back as you do no want the bacteria from your behind to be carried to your lady area. You can take a sitz bath using elm powder. Apple cider vinegar can also be used.
