Is it normal to feel nauseous while fasting? And I'm not pregnant! What could b the cause?

Nausea is common during fasting. It could be due to the detox process of fasting or a drop in your blood sugar levels. You should try eating low GI foods at sehri so that your blood sugar levels are sustained for most of the day. So this will typically be a protein like eggs or tuna, some salad or veg and brown wholewheat bread. In Tibb we say that fasting increases heat and dryness in the body, so this can give you the feeling of "biliousness" or nausea. You can make an infusion using 2tsp of dried coriander in a cup of hot water, covered for an hour or overnight. strain, add honey and drink this once a day for 3 days. on the 4th day take a natural laxative like senna or Tibb laxotabs to eliminate this Hot & Dry concoction.
