It is important that your uncle firstly changes his diet. Arthritis is aggravated by a diet rich is foods which create acid in the body, therefore reducing the intake of these foods are imperative to achieve best results. foods that increase acidity include: sugar and foods that contain high sugar content e.g. white bread, white pasta, pastries etc; foods with a high fat concentration e.g. red meat, butter, deep fried foods or foods cooked with lots of oil etc; spicy foods; certain other foods should also be reduced such as beans and tomatoes.

The diet should consist of mostly fruit and vegetables, wholegrains like whole oats, brown rice and chicken and fish

A few home remedies that he can try includes placing a few slices of fresh ginger root in cup of boiling water. Drink after cooling. Add Epsom salts to bathwater to help remove toxins and soothe inflamed joints. He can apply and massage blackseed ointment over the affected areas every night. It is very important that he keeps the joints warm as the cold generally worsens the pain and stiffness

He can also use Tibb Rumaflam and Tibb Anti-flam (this product cannot be used if he has high blood pressure)

Cupping is an excellent therapy for arthritis. It helps reduce pain and joint stiffness. I would definitely advise that your uncle finds someone to do cupping over the joints on a regular basis
