Am seeking a perspective on misyaar marriage.

Whilst most Ulemaah will condemn, I do think that even though not ideal, it depends on the intentions of both parties.

I, for one, would like to take a second wife, but my wife will not hear of it!!

If a misyar marriage keeps me from straying i.e. controlling my nafs, and allows a divorced/widowed woman to have a husband (albeit secret) that she can rely on...is there any wrong in this?

Would like to hear other views?!
