Be straight with her. Tell her how you feel. Business is cut-throat, and if you allow her to walk all over you now, whats stopping her from doing it again to you. Stand up for yourself, tell her you really want to be part of the event, and since you came up with the idea, and its only fair that you both be involved especially since you both are equal business partners.. thats if that is the case.

I know how you feel but if you don't tell her exactly how u feel she is just going to do it again. So I would suggest you wait for the right time and discuss it with her. Be firm and make her understand. On the otherhand if you leave it you going to be the one unhappy all the time. So as hard as it is, it needs to be done.

    sideline by business partner

Hi I have a good relationship with a lady I do business with and the 2 of us are planning an event together. A few weeks ago I had an idea which I began organising. I told the lady about it a week ago and she said it wud be good. An hour later she then passes it off as her idea and begins organising it with her staff. One of her staff members and I were going to do it together. I have totally been sidelined and I am not sure what to do esp since her staff member is now caught between us and its her boss so she's not even talking to me about it any longer. If I talk to the business partner I know she will just get angry and the event will become sour altogether because we have to work together. If I leave it, I m getting very disappointed and feel like I shudnt even be involved or attend the event. What shud I do in this situation?
