    Dr Joy Saville
There are many causes of knee pain. It may be as a result of injury to the ligaments in the knee, or a cartilage tear (meniscus tear), or osteoarthritis etc. You would need to have an examination and possibly further examinations from your medical practitioner in order to establish what the cause of your pain is. Once you have a diagnosis please respond to this post so that I can advise on possible therapeutic options

    pain in the knee

    Hi Dr,

I have a pain in my knee/knee-cap. Pain feels like it is in my knee bone... When I bend leg pain is my lower part of my leg. Pains mostly at night. During the day if I get it can't work properly as the pain is so sever.

What can be the cause of it and what can I do?

    Thank you
