Strawberry smoothie Ingredients 200g fat free strawberry yoghurt (freeze overnight) 250g strawberries/ 1 cup berries (fresh or frozen) 4 cups fat free milk Method - soften yoghurt and place into blender. Hull strawberries and cut into half. - Blend until smooth. - Serves 4 Mocha smoothie Ingredients 4 cups fat free milk 200g fat free vanilla yogurt (frozen overnight) 1 cup low fat ice cream 1 tablespoon instant coffee granules 2 tablespoons milo graniles ½ tsp vanilla essence Method - blend ingredients until smooth. Serve chilled. Peach smoothie Ingredients 2 cups fat free milk 2 medium bananas chopped coarsely 4 medium/canned peach halves (in light syrup) drained without syrup peaches, chopped coarsely ½ tsp ground cinnamon Method - blend all ingredients until smooth. Top with a cinnamon stick for garnish You can add oat bran to all of the above recipes which will add extra fibre and lower the glycemic index of the smoothie. If you are trying to lose weight, replace a meal with the smoothie.
