You need to consult with a Tibb practitioner to give you more specific advice to suit your dad's needs

However, your dad should go for regular sessions of cupping. Cupping will be done over various areas, but more pain management it should be done directly over the affected areas - this will help to block pain receptors and stimulate pressure and heat receptors. It should also be done over points that will stimulate the brain, heart and liver. These are considered to be the 3 main organs in Tibb and so many times a dysfunction in these organs may result in a disease arising elsewhere.

There is a product by Wing's Herbal called Coryber which is indicated for nerve pain, and Neurotone by Tibb which is indicated for nerve pain and as a nerve tonic respectively.

These products are however only available from certain practitioners

You dad should also consult with a Tissue Salts Consultant

There is a specific mix of TS for neuralgias

It includes Tissue Salt no 8, 10, 12, 19 and 21. The ratios and proportions are different. Number 8-12 is available over the counter, but 19 and 21 may only be accessed through a consultant
