I'm am severly constipated for a week now.I have been suffering with nausea for a while now. I did go for an endoscope and all was clear. Now that I have this constipation the hospital is sending me for a gastroscope(I hope I'm correct with the word). I am on tablets for under-active thyroid. Has anyone experienced this and what was the outcome?what is good to take for the constipation? I am getting fever also with it.

I have been in the same issue for long time. But now I am fine enough and has no constipation problem. From what I have learned from my own experience that constipation usually due to various reasons..like
Lack of physical activity,
Irregularity in meal timing
Eating without hunger
Drinking less water (don't drink water immediately after a meal, its better to drink water before meal not after that)

The best treatment for chronic constipation is pysillium husk. Use pysillium husk daily in the morning in completely soaked form not take it dry.
Drink more water 15 minutes before a meal.
There should be a gap of at least 2 hours between your sleep and dinner.
Take light and easily digestible dinner and walk for 15 minutes before going to sleep.
