Assalamualykum, I urgently want to know.. "Antiperspirant/ deodorant specially the stick types that have alcohol ( stearyl/behenyl) on their ingredients list.. Is it ok to use and pray salah!! Is it halaal or paak??

ASSALAMUALAIKUM
Some Ulama mention that the alcohol used nowadays in perfumes,antiperspiranst and deodorants is “synthetic”(manufactured in laboratories by modern chemical processes). They also state that this chemical alcohol does not intoxicate and is merely added to create an aerosol effect and hence dries up before even making contact with the body. It would therefore be permissible to use these types of deodorants provided that all other ingredients are Halāl. It would also be considered as Paak and Salaah performed after applying such deodorants will be valid.
Other Ulama advise that caution be exercised in using deodorants that have any alcohol even if it is from a synthetic nature, because there are non-alcoholic alternatives available.
A Hadîth of Rasulullâh sallallâhu alaihi wasallam advises, “leave that which places you in doubt for that which is not doubtful”. (Bukhari V.2 Pg.3 , Musnad Ahmad V.3 Pg.133.)
